Sailors Cutting in Omarama. A jetty out into the reflective lake makes for a wintery shot.
This was the coldest time of the year, reaching -7 degrees Celsius at the time this was taken.
(My camera only operates to -10 so I'm lucky to scrape in)
There's only a certain time of the year when the hoarfrost settles in the central South Island, and it makes for pretty damn splendid photography.
A fantastic piece that will compliment both dark and lighter themed rooms, and can add a comforting juxtaposition in an area with a fireplace.
Available in A2 and A3 sizes.
Printed on 310gsm Ilford GALERIE Prestige Gold Fibre paper, using Canon archival inks.
